Sharing 3 tips to keep your home cozy all winter long.
1. Layers, layers, layers!
Pile on those throws, pillows and blankets. They instantly add coziness to your bed and sofa.
And, when you add those layers, make sure to add different textures. Texture adds a lot of depth to a home, especially if you have a neutral home like me. Look at the photo above, it's quite monochromatic, but by adding different textures and layers, you instantly add that cozy appeal.
I personally love using unscented, beeswax candles in the winter. They add a beautiful glow, and throw a lovely, warm honey scent. These are super simple to make at home too! A quick internet search and you'll be making candles in no time.
3. Cozy knit socks
I love a beautiful pair of slouchy, knit socks. I actually prefer them to wearing slippers.
There's just something about snuggling up under a fuzzy throw with thick knit socks that just screams cozy.
These are just a few things you can do to add a bit of coziness to your home. Winter can be tough for some but making your home comfortable and cozy can sure help.
P.S. If you're into wearing cozy socks, like me, here's a tip: after showering/bathing apply some of our body balm to your feet, then slip on your socks. In a couple hours your feet will be incredibly soft. That stuff is magical!
